Maple Grove Parks and Recreation Board is building a skateboard park at the Community Center.  With assistance from area skateboarders and Spohn Ranch Skateparks Inc. we have designed a park for all skill levels.  The park will be made of concrete and include features such as a mini taco, stairs, banks, grind rails, hubba ledges and manual pad.  The park will include a seating area for skateboarders to hang out and spectators to sit and watch.  Construction on the skate park began on May 1 and the anticipated completion date is July 10.
