Outdoor skating rinks

Check below for rinks that are open.

Outdoor rink participation – community input

The Parks and Recreation Department floods, maintains, and operates 21 rinks (9 pleasure and 12 hockey) throughout the park system.

Over the last six years, participation has consistently been reduced at Boundary Creek, Donahue North, Elm Creek, and Thoresen Park. Staff will be evaluating the four sites during the 2022/2023 season to determine if the use patterns justify the continuation of ice rinks at these locations.

Provide your input by completing the outdoor rink comment form.
